उसी पल उनके लिए पेड़ की जड़ों जैसा मजबूत था 

हर काम दिल से किया 

लोगों को ईमानदारी सिखाई 

और बच्चों को जीवन की परिभाषा समझाई  

इस जिंदगी से एक प्रेम से भरा साथी पाया 

जिसे हर दिन मैंने गले से लगाया।
